First, I want to thank the InvestorGeeks co-founders Chris, Jason and Frank for bringing me into the fold. InvestorGeeks was founded in October 2005 (around the same time as Investorial) and is

“focused on building a community of investors and acting as a launch pad to discover new resources [..] creating real dialogue, sharing ideas, and encouraging criticism.”

Those ideals were very similar to my own and so I approached Chris early this month about the possibility of expanding that community. The result was an open call to investor geeks out there, and I’m happy to be among the first group of new writers.

Being affiliated with InvestorGeeks definitely benefits Investorial readers. I do not wish to duplicate the content across the two sites. InvestorGeeks will be my personal forum to obsess about investing related topics; and perhaps getting a bit more technial in the process. While Investorial will still remain my personal commentary on the news, events and media that are out there in the investment / Financial industry. The two forums should create a wonderful synergy for you!

My first InvestorGeek post is already up. It is an article based on my geeky start to investing in appreciable assets. Don’t deny it, many of you have probably done similar things during your childhood. I hope you will enjoy that post and the many more coming soon. You can also count on Investorial to keep dissecting the good, the bad and the ugly in the investment / financial media out there!
