Free WSJ Articles, Investorial’s Christmas Gift To Investment / Financial Blog Readers & Bloggers!
During this Happy Holiday season, I want to thank you for your readership! Investorial started as a forum for my rants and reactions to investment / financial media out there, who’d have thought people would want to read them? I’m very humbled by that fact. I’m even more grateful for being able to forge relationships with bloggers out there such as Canadian Capitalist, InvestorGeeks, and AOL Blogging Stocks. Merry Christmas to you!
What about my gift? Like Charlie Brown, I don’t have much to offer. But please believe that my wish to you is sincere! Actually, my gift is merely a tip for investment / financial blog readers like you! Some of you might already have known this tip, making it very lame. While I hope others will enjoy and make use of it!
The Gift Idea
While I follow Warren Buffett’s preachings not to obsess over what’s happening in the market, it’s nevertheless a good idea to read reputable publications such as the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) to keep abreast of business news. You can learn a lot about investment and business practices through reading. For those who really want to fully utilize this educational opportunity, try questioning everything that they are reporting. Sometimes you discover something more than meets the eye! If not, at least you’re developing your mind to become the inquisitive, rational thinker that befits an investor!
Free Wall Street Journal Articles
And as you know, investment / financial media content has seen a huge push to online mediums - especially true in 2006! Hoping to combine those 2 aspects, I searched high and low and found a tip to accessing free Wall Street Journal articles. Usually, WSJ articles are kept under tight registration walls; available only to subscribers. But if you follow http://wsj.com/free, you can find their free content available to the public!
For tech-savvy readers who prefer RSS feeds, you can find a 30-day archive of the free WSJ content available to non-subscribers at: http://feeds.wsjonline.com/wsj/xml/rss/3_7077.xml
Hope my readers enjoy this tip! Have a safe and Happy Holiday season!
